The "Kids Fit" program is designed to assist kids in becoming as fit as possible by helping them to adopt healthy eating and exercise strategies. Our goal is to help every young person feel confident and comfortable with their bodies and themselves. Each class consists of a workout involving both strength training and cardiovascular activities, and an information/discussion session focused on making positive dietary changes. We realize that each individual is unique and that forming new healthy habits can sometimes be challenging. With that in mind, we provide every child with personalized guidance and encouragement. Many young people enjoy the supportive environment of working out in a small group. Others find that individual sessions work best. In order to accommodate both of these preferences, REACH Fitness offers the program in two formats. Clients are welcome to choose between individualized or small group sessions. Our staff recognizes that some people may feel hesitant about beginning a fitness/nutrition program. We would be happy to meet with you and your child, even before you sign up, to introduce ourselves and answer any questions your family may have. Parents are always welcome to attend classes, along with their child, at no extra cost. Small group sessions are offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 7:00 – 8:15. Cost is $65 for the small group program. If your child would prefer to complete the program using individualized sessions, please call to arrange dates and times.
